Replace Siding Behind Electric Box

On tuesday the utility company is going to be switching power on the outside of my house from a meter box that is installed into the siding and moving to a new meter box that was installed next to it over the siding.

Replace siding behind electric box. Is this something a person can do without contacting the utility company.
